ART DOCUMENTATION
Art documentation is one of many ways to ensure the safety of your art investment. Proper art documentation is essential for appraisals, insurance, and estate planning.
INSTALL/PUBLIC ART/SITE PHOTOGRAPHY
Keen to capture an installation, exhibition, or pubic art project? We offer install and site photography services.
Pro tip: Hire a professional who can: 1. document your art properly and capture an honest depiction of the piece and 2. an arts professional who also has extensive art handling and gallery experience. Risks to artwork can occur during handling, by hiring an art specialist you can avoid mishandling of valued artwork. Don’t forget to ask your art handler or consultant if they have insurance and how much they are insured for.
ART DOCUMENTATION:
ART FRAMED UNDER GLASS
Often, an artwork is housed in a custom frame. Sometimes, for conservation reasons, historical period pieces, or even personal preference, it may be desired to include the frame in the documentation. We can accurately capture art that is placed under glass.
In some instances, we may recommend that the work be removed from the frame. If this occurs, our team can confidently disassemble and reassemble framed works of value.
